Dynamic Networking for Small Business (DYNET): A Federal and Prime Networking Event

Small Businesses interested in the federal market are encouraged to attend this FREE regional tri-state event. Government agencies and prime contractors in a wide range of NAICS from the Tri-State area of Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio will be there to find qualified small businesses to help them meet federally mandated goals. While this is a tri-state event, ALL small AND LARGE contractors are invited to participate. We are especially looking for large prime contractors to participate in the networking!

Dynamic Networking for Small Business will give the Tri-State's small businesses the networking opportunities to match their capabilities with multiple federal agencies and prime contractors at one convenient location. Through the combined efforts of the I-79 Development Council and assistance agencies such as the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Small Business Administration and other federal participants, this networking event makes a host of resources available to the small business that otherwise would be available without expending a great deal of time, money, and effort.

Large business prime contractors will be on hand to help mentor and partner with their small business brethren and this networking event is what it is all about. Creating a venue where networking is the main event brings everyone to the table - it is amazing what can get done over a cup of coffee.

PLUS, organizations that support small businesses in the federal market will also be on hand to share their expertise in areas of bonding, financing, etc.

The Small Business Administration will offer workshops taught by subject matter experts from multiple agencies for small business to get educated on doing business with the Government. In addition, there will be a cyber station courtesy of the California University Procurement Technical Assistance Center to help companies register in the System for Award Management to do business with the government. If you plan on registering in SAM for the first time, you will need a Dun and Bradstreet number prior to arrival, so click here if you need to obtain one: http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform Allow one week for the receipt of your Duns number. Also needed to complete the ACH payment portion of your firm's registration is your business banking information to include routing number and account number. Registration is via secure website in the System for Award Management (SAM) system - a must for contractors who want government contracts awarded to them.

Other training opportunities include topics such as: Government Contracting 101, The Do's and Don'ts of Proposal Preparation, Financial Contract Management, Building Effective Capability Statements, Subs & Partners: What Primes Look For; to name a few.

If you are interested in expanding your business opportunities, this event is for YOU. Registration is now open. You can read more about the event on the homepage found at www.dynetworking.com If you are a prime contractor seeking subcontractors or need outreach credit for a Federal Subcontracting Plan, this event is the perfect avenue to succeed.
