Fires Conference 2014

Welcome to the home of the 2014 Fires Conference. The Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill is proud to host this year’s Fires Conference on the 6th and 7th of May, 2014. This year we will discuss the deep future of Fires, both Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery, focusing on the years 2025 and beyond. The commandants will give an update on modernization and leader development and the entire second day will be devoted to the challenge given to the Science and Technology community: how do we take a revolutionary approach to the future of Fires to ensure that our nation remains the best equipped and best trained Fires force in the world.

Under current Department of Defense and TRADOC conference rules, DoD funded attendance to the 2014 Fires Conference is limited. DoD funded TDY is restricted to 65 attendees. If you have received a formal invitation and plan to attend, you are required to register. Anyone can attend the Fires Conference, but only those who have received an official invite are authorized to utilize DoD funds. 

Registration will begin on or about 1 April 2014.
