Women2Women: How We Do It

In celebration of the Women's History Month, and the women who inspire us, please join us for a breakfast panel and peer learning circles, "Women2Women: How We Do It", scheduled to take place from 8-10 a.m. (EST) on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the GW Foggy Bottom Campus.

The discussion will focus on how women support each other in a multi-sector environment. All attendees will have an opportunity to share and ask questions through peer learning circles, and network with their inspirational colleagues from the private, public and the non-profit sectors.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Women Inspire Action Project, International Council of Small Business (ICSB), and FedInsider.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Reverend Doctor Natalie Houghtby-Haddon is the Associate Director at the GW Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, and an Associate Professor at the GW College of Professional Studies.

Tara Palacios

Tara Palacios is the Director of Bizlaunch, Arlington's Small Business and Entrepreneurial Assistance Network in Arlington County, Virginia.

Sabrina Hersi Issa

Sabrina Hersi Issa is the Digital Director at Be Bold Media, a digital media firm that uses powerful storytelling to develop impactful online and mobile campaigns for innovators and organizers around the world. She is also the co-founder of EndFamine.com, a community dedicated to seeking sustainable solutions to global hunger launched in response to the famine in the Horn of Africa.

Ina Gjikondi is an internationally certified lawyer, organizational development professional and social entrepreneur. She works in higher education at The George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, as the Manager of Leadership Development Programs and serves in the Board of Directors of the UN Association of the National Capital Area.
