Insight from Chaos: Making Sense of Big Data

We have entered an era in which voluminous data is available to national decision-makers, warfighters, intelligence professionals and individual citizens. The Intelligence Community has the responsibility to gain access to the right data, analyze it, and produce accurate assessments that help inform both policy-makers and battlefield commanders, while preserving what has made this country great… individual rights. The 33rd annual AFCEA Spring Intelligence Symposium will examine the challenges and opportunities associated with transforming the IC’s capabilities for accessing big data and transforming it into knowledge, while also protecting civil liberties and being good stewards of taxpayer resources in a fiscally-constrained environment.
