DSI Identity Management Symposium
Improving identity management is a critical step towards improving national security as well as increasing the efficiency of Government internal operations. Forensics and biometrics have provided DoD and Federal Civilian Organizations with dramatic advancements in capacity to identify threats, reduce costs, and target valuable resources where they are needed. When combined with other tools and technology, biometrics and forensics form the basis for holistic identity management. This critical next step represents an evolution in the US Government’s ability to inform decision making.
The symposium will provide valuable information on efforts from the policy and operational communities on how the US Government plans to integrate biometrics with other tools, both existing and in R&D to support defense and homeland security operations and improve the efficiency of Government organizations.
