Strategies & Techniques for a Winning Proposal - Lacey



The government marketplace is highly competitive and putting together a compelling proposal is imperative, but takes a lot of preparation and work! This workshop will provide the information and tools needed to prepare a responsive bid, including reading an RFP/RPQ/RFB, prepositioning, planning your response, setting up your files, and targeting your response. Be prepared for an intense dive into the elements of a proposal. You will gain a deeper understanding of what is needed to make your business an effective competitor in the Government Marketplace and leave with tools to assist you with the proposal process.

 

Your instructors are Jeanie James, Shorebird Creative, who has more than 15 years of experience in preparing successful government proposals, and Stephanie Scott, a  Government Contracting Assistance Specialist with the Washington PTAC.

 

Recommended prerequisite:  Government Contracting 101 or basic understanding of government contracting.
