Green Middle East, Expo and Conference, September 2014

In a short span of time, the UAE and the rest of the GCC countries have made giant leaps in the field of green technology and projects, with some of the regional ventures having made global headlines.

The sustainability drive in the region is propelled by government policies and initiatives that aim to check indiscriminate use of scarce natural resources and costly power and water generation.

In several instances, public-private partnerships are driving this industry to newer heights, generating demand for innovative technology and services that can help save energy, reduce pollution, recycle more, and build greener structures and eco-friendly businesses.

Underscoring the regional governments stress on initiating green policies and investing in eco-friendly technology to achieve all-round sustainable development is the premier environment management and technology trade event, the Green Middle East.

Following the successful third edition, the fourth Green Middle East is set to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 29 September to 1 October, 2014
