IT Legacy Modernization for Government

The GAO calculates that over 75% of our nation's IT budget is spent solely on maintaining legacy IT systems.  In other words, $62 billion for obsolete software and hardware that is expensive and time-consuming to keep and inflexible to today's federal business processes.  On the other hand, over 77% of government IT decision-makers express a need for a more flexible and agile IT framework.  Consolidated data centers, shared services, cloud capabilities, IT mobility and cyber security top the list of priorities.  Backing these needs up is the federal IT budget for FY 2015, remaining stable at $80 billion despite massive cuts in other departments.  Now is the time to take charge.

IQPC's IT Legacy Modernization for Government will set the stage for end users to express challenges and opportunities in modernizating federal IT, and listen to the most attractive solutions in the market.  Taking place just a few weeks before FY 2015, the event will host CIOs, IT Directors, Chief Architects and more government IT end users in an intimate setting with those at the forefront of IT modernization technology.

Join us as we discuss the latest in federal legacy transformation projects, including the Social Security Administration's investment in data centers, USPTO's spending on secure networks, the VA's expenditure on medical IT support and much more.  It will be a great opportunity to discuss, network and mold the future of our government's information technology capabilities.
