Veteran Job Fair & Resource Expo

 The Houston Community College Southeast & Career Planning Resource Center is hosting their 5th annual Job Fair  & Career Expo for Veterans. The event organizer, Mr. James Corona says, “This year's job fair has gotten bigger and better in serving the needs of the veteran student and community population.  It will be a great platform for Veterans to engage in career enhancing workshops, networking and find the right job that match their career aspirations.  It's my pleasure inviting all the Veterans from the Houston Community College and the surrounding community to be a part of this great event and explore the diverse career and job opportunities”.

There will be 55 diverse employers and 10 Veteran Resource agencies  participating in the job fair and some are planning to conduct on the spot interviews. The event also offers five highly engaging and informative workshops delivered by distinguished speakers. The American GI Forum, Texas Veteran’s Commission and Work Force Solutions will be part of the support staff.

Dr. Cesar Maldonado, Chancellor of the Houston Community College (HCC), Dr. Irene Porcarello, President – HCC Southeast and Dr. Sabrina Lewis, District Director of Veteran Affairs, HCC,  Congressman Mr. Gene Green of the 29th Congressional District and City of Houston Councilman, Robert Gallegos District I will be part of this event.
