During his three command tours, Captain Walls ensured the cyber readiness of over 300 ships, 4,000 aircraft and 400,000 servicemen - the world's largest infrastructure. Captain Walls personally directed forces conducting cyber operations across the global Navy cyber domain including all Navy unclassified networks and websites; oversaw development and implementation of the first Website Vulnerability Assessment capability for the U.S. Navy; directed the U.S. Navy's cadre of sophisticated cyber security trainers and assessors conducting cyber readiness assessments across the global Navy cyber infrastructure; and provided penetration testing support to the U.S. Navy's Operational Test and Evaluation Force. |
