SECAF Executive Briefing: Get SMART* on Today's SBA - How SBA is Working for Small and Emerging Businesses



The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) today announced its next Executive Briefing – GetSMART* on Today's SBA: How SBA is Working for Small and Emerging Businesses. (*SMART stands for Sensibly Mindful About Recent Transactions.)

 

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has been making news with several pending actions and directions that have immediate impact on the small and emerging contractor community.  SBA leaders will share the direction of regulatory, policy, standards and certification trends under consideration and the time frame for review and adoption. This event will provide a powerful, relevant, and interactive exchange between leadership from the SBA and the SECAF community to enable members to grow their companies.

The event will be moderated by Natalia Olson-Urtecho, Regional Administrator - U.S. Small Business Administration, Region III. Panelists will include: Mehul Sanghani, Founder and President of Octo Consulting Group; Anthony Ruiz, Assistance District Director/8(a) Business Development Program, Washington Metropolitan Area District Office, U.S. Small Business Administration; and Maria Kersey,  Director, Office of Small Business Programs, Defense Intelligence Agency.
