NLIT Summit 2015
This year's National Laboratories Information Technology (NLIT) Summit, will take place at the Sheraton Seattle from May 3-6 2015.
The NLIT Summit 2015 brings together colleagues from across the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) complex to facilitate an exchange of information management (IM) best practices, strategy and methodology. Each year, the conference averages 300 to 350 attendees from the DOE Laboratories. This NLIT Summit will have the strongest participation from this year's local lab, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Presentations and Sessions
The NLIT Summit 2015 will consist of presentations, panel discussions, new equipment and technology demonstrations, and information sharing on topics applicable to all DOE National Laboratories.
Presentations will be provided by the numerous DOE Laboratories and Industry Supporters. This information exchange helps strengthen the IM and provides cost efficiencies across the DOE National Laboratories by preventing the reinvention of solutions to similar problems. Sharing of new technologies across multiple IM disciplines fosters relationships that will be key in future research and application development. The success of the DOE mission relies on the ability to conduct research, share data, and collaborate with personnel from other laboratories.
Attendees
The past NLIT Summits have had participation from all the DOE Laboratories including the following personnel: IT Infrastructure Managers, IT Security Managers, IT Architects, Cyber Security Analysts, Program Managers, Unix Systems Administrators, Computer Systems Engineers, Network Engineers and Chief Information Officers.
There is no conference fee for DOE Personnel and U.S. Government employees. Industry may NOT attend unless participating under one of the exposure packages listed below.
