Understanding and Embracing the Four Generations

When is it okay to text your boss? How do you deal with a manager who is younger than you? Does age and experience mean you are more qualified for the position?

Join us for a panel discussion on the four generations at work today.

  • Traditionalists (Born between 1925 and 1946)
  • Baby Boomers (Born between 1946 and 1964)
  • Generation Xers (Born between 1965 and 1980)
  • Generation Ys or Millennials (born after 1980)

Each generational group has distinct characteristics, values, and attitudes toward workplace behavior based on its generation’s life experiences. As employees, we must embrace this coming change in corporate culture that will include this new, multigenerational workplace.

Our speakers join us from diverse backgrounds and industries to share their experience and expertise and will divulge the honest challenges and hidden opportunities in today's multi-generational workplace.

This session will help you:

  • Learn the workplace priorities and preferred methods of communicating for each generation
  • Understand how to best manage and be managed by Millennials, Xers, Boomers and Traditionalists
  • Overcome stereotypes associated with each generation and connect instantly with anyone-- no matter their age
