Center for Digital Education Market Briefing: Colorado 2015



The Center for Digital Education is hosting a Market Briefing event in Denver, CO and we hope you can join us.

IT leaders from some of the largest districts in Colorado will be on hand for a special briefing on their technology plans for the coming years. As the largest school district in Colorado, and one of the fastest growing urban school districts, Denver Public Schools serves over 87,000 students. The leadership at Denver Public Schools recognizes the importance of technology and information literacy for all of its students and is determined to prepare its students to be dynamic 21st century citizens. With over 28,000 students, Boulder Valley School District is committed to increasing student achievement and learning through classroom and media center use of technology to help ensure students are well prepared for a technology-rich society and workplace.


With more than 84,000 students in 148 schools, Jefferson County Public Schools (Jeffco) believes the advancement of technology is imperative to students, parents, community and staff. Jeffco is working to transform learning spaces and create virtual spaces to allow for the effective use of 21st century skills and tools. Aurora Joint District serves over 39,000 students in 59 schools. Aurora believes in accelerating student learning by providing technology environments which are safe, enable student learning and maximize staff efficiency. 

The participants will be briefing the audience on district plans in a variety of topic areas, including computing infrastructure, mobile devices, digital content, professional development, cyber security and their plans to incorporate blended learning models.

This event will allow participants to:

  • Hear directly from CIOs and technology leaders from area school districts
  • Network with fellow industry leaders in the region
  • Learn about the hot issues in the education IT market
