The New York City Department of Education has made a strategic decision to add Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education to its arsenal of instructional tools. The team of Google, Intel, Acer and CDW/G have partnered with the Department of Education to host a special event that will help schools launch their adoption of these tools through a professional development day scheduled for Thursday, March 5, 2015 at PS 281 in Manhattan. If you are an Instructional Coach, Single Point of Contact or Instructional Technology Specialist, this is a great opportunity to learn (there will be a follow-on event geared to faculty).
The day has a variety of content for both new users of Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education and those who have already begun their journey and need advanced topics to help them take the next steps. We look forward to having you join us! As a note, attendance will be capped at 200, so be sure to reserve your space early!
