Large District Fly-In 2015

The Large District Fly-In is being hosted by the Center for Digital Education and will be held in Atlanta, GA. The largest 25 districts and select others will be invited to take part in discussions that articulate the priorities and challenges large school districts are facing as they “shift to digital.”

Free of charge to public-sector leaders, the discussions will highlight the use of information technology in district management and teaching/learning. The districts will also be invited to share their plans, including the current status, rationale for their decisions and what they have learned from their efforts to date.

The discussion points will include:

•     Network Infrastructure Upgrades
•     Cybersecurity / Data Security / Privacy
•     Consolidation / Virtualization / Cloud Computing
•     Data Management / Data Analytics
•     Personalized Learning

•     Professional Development / Skills Training
