U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Small Business Seminar and Matchmaking Event

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Small Business Program in collaboration with Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will host its 4th Annual Small Business Seminar and Matchmaking Event on March 24, 2015, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the agency's headquarters in Rockville, Maryland.

The event targets small businesses in their efforts to support the mission and objectives of the agency. Matchmaking opportunities for select companies will be available with NRC's program offices and agency prime contractors.

The U.S. NRC regulates commercial and institutional uses of nuclear energy to protect the public health and safety, promote the common defense and security, and protect the environment. Attendees will hear directly from NRC leadership on the vision and priorities of the NRC at its Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, including current acquisition initiatives and how small businesses can support their mission.

Matchmaking:  NRC offices will also host 10-minute matchmaking meetings with pre-selected businesses. In order to be considered for Matchmaking, all registrants must apply by EOB Thursday, March 12. The application link will be found on the registration confirmation email. Notification of selections will be emailed by March 19.

• There is no parking available at the NRC
• NRC is located at the WHITE FLINT METRO STATION (Red Line)and arrival by Metro is recommended
• Limited paid parking is available at the METRO parking lot located on Marinelli Road, beyond the NRC buildings.
• NRC will provide outside directional signs to the auditorium entrance located on the side of NRC building off Marinelli Road.
• Everyone must have a U.S. Government Issued ID / and everyone will need to go through security prior to entering, so please allow time. 
• Everyone must sign a waiver for re-use of photographic images in various media formats.

 Advanced registration is required for admittance and there is NO COST to attend this event.
