This event qualifies for .7 CEUs

This event qualifies for 7 CPEs

The rise in cyber-attacks, nation state cyber terrorism and the breach of consumer data has led to a heightened awareness of the enterprise and personal responsibilities associated with cyber security. The Federal adoption of cloud computing and the associated mobile and social technologies has increased the challenges associated with digital forensics and incident response. Federal agencies are starting to engage cloud service providers and agencies adopting cloud in establishing a well-defined forensic capability. This workshop defines the new area of cloud forensics and analyzes the challenges and opportunities. More than understanding digital forensics, now is the time to figure out how to implement cloud forensics and incident response planning to the secure cloud solutions that transform agency missions.

This full day training workshop details the step-by-step approach to understanding the science of cloud forensics for Government. This workshop will provide you an understanding of how this new capability which builds on digital forensics has the potential to offer innovation for Federal agencies, and also poses new IT security challenges.  We will identify tools and methods to perform forensic investigations in the cloud.

Obtain the latest information on Cloud Forensics, FedRAMP Cloud Security and the challenges of incident response in the cloud.

Executives, Managers, and security staff throughout government have taken up the challenge of securing Government in its move to Cloud Computing; lets build a cloud forensics and incident response framework for your agency.
