18th Annual A Night for the Children Gala

For 17 years, AFCEA Bethesda has supported charitable giving, including raising more than $6.75 million for charities benefiting the health, welfare, and education of children. 

The successful history of our A Night for the Children Gala and the generosity of the government contracting community enabled AFCEA Bethesda to help our receiving charities achieve significantly strong financial foundations. As we look to broaden our impact on the greater Washington DC community, this year’s gala is expanding its scope to benefit three charities — House of Ruth, the Hope for Henry Foundation and Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

These three charities embody the broader values, mission and goals that agencies like the Department of Justice, Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and our Armed Forces support through dedicated programs for children and families in need.
