ACC-APG Huachuca Division Industry Day

The goal of the event is to provide our industry partners with networking opportunities and information for mission areas that focus on: information technology; test and evaluation; military intelligence; cyber security; communications, security, and logistics; engineering and systems integration; and base operations services support.

We hope to have participation by senior leaders representing all of our customers: U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICOE), U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground - Ft. Huachuca (EPG), U.S. Army Information Systems Command (ISEC), U.S. Army Communications, Security, Logistics Agency (CSLA), and Ft. Huachuca Garrison.

The intent is to provide industry with information on the needs, challenges, and the direction of these organizations and how those relate to upcoming procurements in the current acquisition environment during this time of constrained resources. Discussions will be closely aligned with the technology roadmaps for the organizations, focusing on the next three to five years. Slides containing this information will be posted electronically prior to the event and questions solicited which will be answered that day. The Government will not hear formal bids from industry nor will one-on-one or group meetings be held at this time as the purpose of the event is only for the Government to provide information. However, other events may be held in the future to do so. The Division Chief for ACC-APG, Huachuca Division, will also be providing information on our structure, various acquisition topics, strategy development, long range opportunities, and trends in acquisition.

Requested Information: This request is for industry to assist in identifying discussion topics which are of interest to you. The suggestions received in response to this notice will be used to help us shape the day's content and structure. Feel free to suggest any specific information you would like to see presented by any particular customer. Feel free to also suggest topic areas regarding Army acquisition processes/policies and small business support both locally, regionally, and globally which would be of significant use to you to expand or improve your opportunities to do business with ACC-APG Huachuca Division. There is a sincere interest on the part of all parties to energize and streamline the procurement process at Ft. Huachuca. We'd like to know how you think the process can be improved for all parties.

Additional Information: There will be no sponsored breakfasts, lunches, or dinners. This is not a pre-solicitation, pre-bid, or pre-proposal conference; this event is for informational purposes only and will not be designed to provide formal briefings on any acquisition requirement. There will be no fee to attend, however, Industry participants will be required to preregister and a limitation will be placed on how many participants may be allowed per company [company status will be checked in the System for Award Management (SAM)]. Preregistration information will be provided in a subsequent notice. Reservations are not being accepted at this time.

There will be no classified briefings. Significant changes to installation access at Fort Huachuca, AZ will begin August 3, including a return to the original gate names and background checks for all individuals 18 years or older without an approved form of DoD identification. Visitors seeking short term access (less than 30 days) do not require a Government sponsor, however, all applicants will still undergo a background check. Updated information for Fort Huachuca's installation access guidance will be provided to Industry Day participants at a later time.

Vetted briefings may be provided in advance if possible in order to prompt questions. The ground rules for the event consist of submitting questions on note cards provided during the event or via electronic means prior to the event. Company information will be stripped from the questions. Those questions will be presented to the customers (in advance if provided by industry via electronic means prior to the event) and oral responses provided. We do not intend to provide any printed materials e.g. agendas, programs, etc. The Government will not prepare for distribution to industry participants any notes or minutes of the event, however, we will provide a list of attendees/registrants.

While each response will be considered, not all input will necessarily appear in the final event's proceedings.
