Stewards of the Public Trust: Closing the Gaps in Federal Cyber Infrastructure

Cybersecurity is one of the most serious threats we face as a nation. Government systems are frequent targets, and Federal CIOs are taking dramatic steps to reduce the risk. Strong authentication, reducing the number of privileged users with access, and heightened focus on phishing attempts to introduce malware into Federal networks are just a few of the techniques agency leaders are using to curtailing the cyber risk.

This panel will talk about their agencies’ cybersecurity policies, procedures, and practices, and discuss ways to safeguard our nation while building a strong foundation of trust and protection of critical assets and information.
