Small Business Acquisition Outlook

AFCEA Bethesda’s Small Business Council is hosting its first Small Business Acquisition Outlook program in Partnership with Deltek on December 11. Attend the program and learn about new business opportunities and updates on current GWAC vehicles. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from a panel of senior-government contracting experts and participate in round table question and answer sessions with our speakers.

Companies seeking schedule contracts are bidding in an extremely competitive landscape. Knowing how to effectively leverage contracting vehicles and indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (IDIQ) awards is critical for companies to meet agency objectives and grow their business.

Join AFCEA Bethesda, Deltek and your colleagues from large and small businesses at the Small Business Acquisition Outlook to learn how small government contractors can efficiently find business that they can win, learn how to partner with the right primes, and learn about new opportunities.

Attendees will learn:

  • Important updates and revisions to current GWACs and IDIQ’s including Alliant 2 Small Business, CIO-SP3 Small Business, DHS Eagle II and NASA SEWP V
  • How agencies are moving to more consolidated acquisition strategies where fewer contracts will drive greater transparency into pricing by simplifying the collection and comparison of data
  • How NITACC and NASA SEWP are supporting OMB’s new mandates for centralized laptop and desktop acquisition
  • About current task orders including the number of task orders awarded off GSA Alliant and Alliant Small Business I and the ceiling for GSA Alliant and Alliant Small Business II
  • How to prepare for the potential CIO-SP3 Small Business on ramp early 2016
  • Best practices for small businesses to market and manage current GSA vehicles
