Advanced Tactical Command Program

The OpTac International Advanced Tactical Command Program will be held May 16-18, 2016 in West Bloomfield, Michigan. MCOLES Certified-Use of 302 Funds Approved for Michigan Law Enforcement Agencies

This advanced program enhances operational planning and execution for executive officers, SWAT commanders, and team leaders responsible for the management of high-risk tactical operations. Interactive classes and tabletop exercises include: establishing a SWAT training matrix, critical incident and tactical team management, leadership in the 21st Century, strategies for optimal team performance, media relations, integration of snipers and entry/perimeter team personnel, and behavioral science. An emphasis is placed on critical incident response and the effective management of interpersonal issues, relating to executive decisions and department liability. The establishment and prolongation of multi-jurisdiction teams and multi-team operations are covered in detail.

The cost to attend the OpTac International Advanced Tactical Command Program is $599 per person. There is limited space available, therefore paid reservations will be accepted on a priority basis.
