Building Innovation 2016

Designing and constructing sustainable and resilient buildings, infrastructure and communities that are safe, secure and able to withstand and recover from natural and man-made disasters is a priority for the Institute and the entire building community. During Building Innovation 2016, the Institute will present five days of informative programming that will focus on various means and methods for improving resilience to ensure the future of the nation’s built environment.

The Building Innovation Conference series is the one industry event designed to bring the entire building community together under one roof to develop industry-wide solutions. Every discipline involved with the construction of safe, resilient, energy-efficient structures for housing, commerce and industry participate in improving the performance of our nation’s buildings and infrastructure. As the industry’s authoritative source of innovative solutions for the built environment, the Institute established this annual event to combine the efforts of all the stakeholders in resolving the problems and potential problems our industry faces. The Building Innovation audience includes those involved in planning, designing, procuring, constructing, operating, maintaining and retiring physical facilities. Industry professionals attend Building Innovation Conferences to share ideas, review advancements in science and technology, gain knowledge and collaborate on a better built environment.
