Beyond the Basics: Reasonable Accommodation Guidance for Federal Agencies' Real Life Challenges

Because each accommodation request must be evaluated on an individual basis, it often raises questions that are not easily answered.  Move past a fundamental understanding of reasonable accommodation to more confidently address higher-level issues.

You’ve handled reasonable accommodation requests, and have a handle on the fundamental issues and process.  And now you need to take your understanding up a level, to handle the more complex issues some employees’ situations present.

In response to the demand for higher level guidance on issues such as reasonable accommodation, the focus of this seminar will be on more complex accommodation requests which go beyond basic needs.

Submit your questions in advance to the email stated above and two recognized experts in civil rights and disability law will turn your real-life situations into valuable learning opportunities, and deliver practical guidance to help you:

  • Use newer technology to address difficult accommodation needs
  • Effectively re-start a stalled accommodation process
  • Best practices to employ when medical information is needed
  • Recognize what accommodations are available for challenging situations
  • Find ways to resolve difficult accommodation situations
  • Employ strategies to successfully work through the interactive proces

Do you have a specific challenge you’d like help with? Once you register, email your challenge to Allison Uehling at auehling@lrp.com.  During the seminar, the speakers will address as many questions as time permits.
