Igniting Innovation 2016

The 2016 Igniting Innovation Awards, sponsored by the ACT-IAC Institute for Innovation, is seeking innovative products, services, processes or solutions that could be used by government to improve its delivery of services to the public or its internal operations. Nominations are now being accepted through January 15, 2016.

The top thirty (30) nominations will be selected by a panel of government and industry judges and invited to a showcase in Washington, DC in April 2016 to display their innovative ideas to the government technology community. During the showcase the most innovative and effective ideas will be selected as winners through a combination of voting by attendees and judges.

How to Nominate an Innovation:

1. Review the sample nomination form.

2. Gather the information needed to answer the questions in advance. You may want to draft the answers in a document and then copy and paste them into the nomination form.

3. Answer all of the nomination questions in a single session (you cannot save partially completed nominations and finish them later).

4. Click the "DONE" button after you answer all of the questions to submit your nomination.

If you have any questions, make a mistake, or need to update your nomination after submitting it, please contact [email protected].

There are no fees for submitting nominations.
