Class Information

How To Achieve Organizational Readiness for Implementing New Technology  |  You can purchase the best new technology solution on the market, get a great deal, partner with an awesome vendor, and have the best of intentions for a new or improved management plan, but none of that matters unless you can successfully ready your organization for changes to procedures and new ways of thinking, doing, and seeing. Let us give you a guide to navigating your way through the maze of planning, projects, approvals, and milestones you need to prepare yourself for before you implement a new enterprise software system in your organization, whether it be Records Management, BPM & Workflow, Content Management, Enterprise Social Networking, Business Intelligence, Cloud Storage, Collaboration Tools, ERP... any new solution.

We'll look at a variety of pre-installation tasks that you need to consider before implementation including designing a questionnaire for organizational readiness, deciding the best time to get started based on the Organizational Energy vs Cultural Rigidity Relationship scale, what you should be cognizant of when wading through the bevy of agreements you need to enter, evaluating your organization's readiness to move to the cloud (and if that's even necessary for you), and other key factors in preparing to change your organizational culture before changing your organizational technology.
