4th DoD Unmanned Systems Summit



DSI’s DoD Unmanned Systems Summitis designed as an educational and training “Town Hall” forum, where thought leaders and key policy-makers across military and civilian organizationscan come together for actionable discussions and debate. The Summit will offer a full spectrum viewpoint towards air/land/sea systems.

 

*The phrase “unmanned systems” is used to collectively refer to all robotic systems that may be remotely piloted or contain a level of autonomous tasking, and operate on land, sea, air and space domains

DSI’s DoD Unmanned Systems Summit allows for  military users, civilian, and academia across the unmanned systems spectrum to come together to learn, discuss, debate, and help advance  several key areas within the  community such as:

  1. Fusion warfare, the combat cloud, and future implications for the unmanned ISR  community
  2. Autonomy research and activity and human- machine teaming
  3. Improving communication systems within and amongst land, sea, air and space systems
  4. Opportunities to improve commonalities and interoperability, including integrating and standardizing open architectures
  5. Tailoring existing policies and requirements to support processes for unmanned systems
  6.  Improving onboard data processing for ISR
  7.  Activities with MUM-T
  8.  Improving power, endurance and efficiency
  9.  Cyber and EW considerations
  10.  Latest FAA discussions regarding UAS in US airspace  and creating a UTM
