AFCEA DC Young AFCEAN DHA Panel

In a world of shrinking budgets and increased demands on the individual there is a continuing need to find ways to increase performance within the existing workforce. Historically, performance training has focused on preparing individuals to be physically fit to perform the assigned tasking. Recent experience has demonstrated that performance enhancements can be gained by ensuring personnel are mentally prepared to perform tasking. Skills like mental resilience and cognitive enhancement can act as a force multiplier making the existing workforce more effective. Additionally these mental skills can help to increase program success, reduce burnout and ‎create a more engaged workforce.

Over the course of this event, our panel of experts will discuss how mental resiliency and performance enhancement have been used to help programs become more successful. We will also address several related topics, such as the implications of performance-enhancement training on the next generation of learners, strategies for reaching a distributed workforce, and innovations in training technology that can contribute to improved human performance.
