Doing Business with The Dept. of Defense: Army, Navy, and Air Force

This program is the second in a series entitled,  "Doing Business with the Department of Defense."  So far in FY2016 according to USA Spending.gov, the three branches of service, Navy, Army and Air Force have awarded over $37 Billion in new contracts through 100,000+ transactions.  Each branch currently has awarded over $11 Billion individually.  These account for about 25% of all transactions from DoD agencies so far.  These three branches are the largest spenders of all DoD agencies with the next largest being Defense Logistics Agency at a mere $6 Billion.  These awards are for a variety of purposes directly related to these agencies’ needs.

For FY2017, the budget for all of DOD is expected to be $582 Billion with requests for non-funded projects in the billions as well.

In this program you will learn about opportunities, the regulations and in general how the Army, Navy and Air Force are organized to acquire mass quantities of products and services annually under the authority of the DOD.
