Risk Management Framework: The Future of DoD Cybersecurity

An educational symposium for military personnel, this learning event will examine The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information, as outlined in DoD Instruction 8510.01. 

The Federal Executive Briefing will be highlighted by a Keynote Briefing by a senior level DoD official, who will give an overview of RMF, discuss the transition from the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to RMF and provide a look at the future of DoD Cybersecurity under the RMF environment. 

The Federal Executive Briefing will also include a roundtable discussion of RMF by members of DoD technical community and its components.  The panel will discuss RMF best practices and lessons learned and examine how to create a better understanding of RMF for the DoD IT community to utilize in their mission-focused work.
