Sixth Annual Citizen Engagement Seminar

In October 2015, the Obama Administration set forth new challenges and initiatives in the Open Government National Action Plan (NAP), with the goal to empower citizens and transform how the government engages and serves the public.

Service in the government is unique however, and the shift to citizen-centric service is not easy. Save the date for our Sixth Annual Citizen Engagement Seminar on June 16, 2016 in Washington, DC to hear and learn from public sector experts and thought leaders on how they're leading the movement and making the transition to citizen-centric service.

The day will consist of interactive panel discussions and sessions focusing on:

Best practices and current strategies on how to improve agency-to-public engagement
Harnessing technology to improve and streamline citizen-based services and the delivery of these services
Implementing open government plans and best practices to follow
Leveraging social media to increase citizen engagement

The agenda also features networking breaks to explore the partner exhibits and make use of our collaborative social media station!
