Contracting Practices at HUD: Transitioning to the FAR

In 2014, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit issued a decision holding that the Department of Housing and Urban Development could not avoid federal competition requirements by using cooperative agreements instead of procurement contracts for contract administration services. Accordingly, companies that have previously operated under cooperative agreements with HUD will now be faced with navigating procurement contracts.

This webinar provides background on the decision and provides a path forward for companies that are unfamiliar with government procurement contracts. It will allow the attendees to understand how these procurement contracts work and what changes they may need to make to their policies and procedures.

This program is not available for CLE, CPE, CLP or other credits as a live program.
