Critical Manufacturing Security Conference 2016



The Critical Manufacturing (CM) Sector Coordinating Council (SCC) is pleased to announce its seventh annual Security Conference to be held on November 9-10, 2016 at Alexion Pharmaceuticals in New Haven, CT.  New this year, ALL PRESENTATIONS  ON NOVEMBER 9th WILL BE WEBCAST LIVE, for those who are unable to attend in-person.  The event and webcast are FREE, but registration is required. Once registered, you will receive webinar and dial-in information.

 

On Wednesday, November 9th is the Critical Manufacturing Security Conference.  This FREE event kicks off with our Keynote speaker, Mr. Tim Williams, Chief Security Officer - Director of Enterprise Security Risk Management at Caterpiller, Inc.

  

This year's topics include:

 

1.   Enterprise Security Convergence

2.   Cybersecurity/Social Media/Counter Surveillance

3.   Using predictive analysis and information sharing capabilities

4.   Analytical Resources and Capabilities-What is available?

5.    Common Threat Indicators-Tactics, Techniques and Procedures

 

Thursday, November 10th will be an SCC/GCC member’s only meeting and includes a tour of Alexion’s new Global Operations Center, Cyber Security Lab, Mail Screening Facility and information analysis capabilities.  Please email criticalmanufacturing@hq.dhs.gov if you are attending the CIPAC meeting and tour.

 

As in previous years, this conference is FREE and designed to elevate awareness and understanding of threats and vulnerabilities to assets, systems, and networks. In-person attendees will benefit from a forum to exchange information, network, share best practices, and to gain insight into the roles of Federal, state, local agencies and departments.
