This Fall Build Your Future at SHPE Conference 2016

 

SHPE Conference is the largest technical and career conference for Hispanics and Latinos in the country. Each year, the SHPE Conference attracts over 5,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives. The conference is an opportunity for engineering companies and corporations to recruit top talent from SHPE membership. In addition it provides educational, technical and career opportunities for professional and student engineers.

Programs

SHPE’s Educational Program is geared toward the Student and the Professional alike. General Sessions give you a unique experience.  Come take part in our signature Distinguished Lectures and Technical Seminars.

 

General Workshops provide opportunities to learn Leadership Development, Academic Excellence, Career Development, Cultural Awareness, and much more.

 

Specialized Tracks, the largest portion of our Educational Program, give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in specific topics.

 

Professionals can look forward to participating in our Professional Certification courses including Project Management.

 

Educators are welcomed to the SHPE Conference with our Teacher Program, the SHPE Chapter Advisors and Engineering Educators Program, or the Dean’s Summit.

 

Do you see Graduate School on the horizon?  Join our GRAD Lab and Graduate Institute to help get you through this set of post-baccalaureate challenges.

 

The Corporate Readiness Program is designed to get Undergraduate Students corporate-ready and our Latina Track helps empower Latinas in the STEM fields.

 

Corporate Tours give you the opportunity to tour the local facilities of renowned companies.

Lectures/Seminars include our Distinguished Lectures, Technical Seminars, and Research Symposia

 

Tech Talks brings students and industry leaders together to discover and learn about developing technologies in engineering. This year Tech Talks will cover topics on engineering, creativity, and energy. These premiere workshops are not to be missed!
