The Nation’s Report Card: 2015 Science Results Release
On Thursday, October 27 at 10 a.m. ET, the National Assessment Governing Board and the National Center for Education Statistics will release results of The Nation's Report Card: 2015 Science at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. This report features national and state-level results at grades 4 and 8, with national results at grade 12 from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
At this interactive event, you can participate in a Q&A session with speakers and panelists, and test your knowledge on NAEP science questions live!
These experts, educators, practitioners, and a local 12th-grade student will discuss:
- What the data show at the national and state levels about student achievement
- The value of knowing and understanding how to apply scientific principles in everyday life
- The impact of in- and out-of-classroom science education and activities on learning and academic preparedness
This event is free and open to the public.
