MILCOM Networking Session
Following the MILCOM morning plenary panel “Military Communications and Readiness: Operational Priorities and Capability Needs” on Wednesday, November 2, join readiness experts from Booz Allen Hamilton, including Senior Vice President Ken Mills, to continue the dialogue on exploring how the military services can more accurately and cost effectively overcome readiness challenges.
Light refreshments will be included at this session, and there is no cost to attend.
Pre-registration for this session is required and on-site registration will be granted space permitting.
Government and military officials are highly encouraged to attend.
Speaker and Presenter Information
Ken also leads Booz Allen’s Defense Functional Community and has had significant leadership responsibility in the firm’s Ethics and Compliance program. He is the Booz Allen sponsor for the Wounded Warrior Mentor Program. Ken joined Booz Allen as an Associate in 1997. Throughout his career at the firm, he has provided a wide range of consulting services in the national security area including working with the US Commission on National Security for the 21st Century.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Ken spent 26 years as a pilot in the United States Air Force, where he commanded a flying squadron and operations group. He also served as Chief of Aircrew Management on the Air Staff and Chief of the Joint Readiness Division on the Joint Staff.
Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, and a Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He completed the Decision Models for Management Executive Education Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Hensberger has extensive experience leading teams with technical vision and strategy for big data and analytic solutions in a broad range of client environments including the Intelligence Community, Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. He has helped this diverse set of clients realize the transformative power of data science to solve their hardest problems. Currently, one of his primary areas of focus is in leveraging data science to build analytical tools that go beyond current readiness reporting to forecast how the decisions and choices made today will impact future readiness.
He holds an M.S. in Information Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Paul spent 38 years in Federal Service as an Army Officer and Senior Executive for DoD and VA. As a lawyer, Paul served as the General Counsel for VA and the DHA – but also contributed as the Chief of Staff for the VA and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). At DoD, Paul acted as the Deputy Director for the DHA just prior to moving to Booz Allen.
Paul received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and French from Rice University, a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University, and an LL.M. from The Judge Advocate General’s School. He also received an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University and is a graduate of the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
