AFCEA Bethesda Executive Roundtable: Cross-Agency Priority (CAP) Goals Breakfast

Cross-Agency Priority (CAP) Goals were established in the Government Performance and Results Modernization Act of 2010, and the Obama Administration has adopted a limited number of CAP Goals to improve cross-agency coordination and best practice information sharing. Twenty-four major federal agencies have set mission-oriented and management-focused performance goals to improve their effectiveness, efficiency and accountability to citizens. The third event in our 90-day “Customer of the Future” Sprint series will feature one-on-one executive roundtable/peer-to-peer discussions on the CAP goals to deliver smarter, better, faster services to citizens, deploy a world-class workforce, maximize federal spending and support innovation in areas such as:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Category Management and Strategic Sourcing
  • Smarter IT Delivery
  • Shared Services
  • Open Data

The Monthly Breakfast Series

The Monthly Breakfast Series features panel discussions with speakers drawn largely from federal civilian agencies. Breakfast topics span a wide range of timely issues and are presented in a format that offers a compelling snapshot of multiple agency perspectives. This year we are introducing our 90-Day Sprints, a series of three breakfasts that take a deeper dive into the subjects of the Customer of the Future, IT Modernization and Digital Government.
