Rocky Mountain Cyberspace Symposium 2017

The Cyberspace Symposium provides a national forum for industry and government to work together to help solve the challenges of cybersecurity, community cyber readiness and national defense.

The theme this year is: “IoT is Here: Connecting, Protecting, Impacting" and will explore the vast changes occurring in how devices connecting to our networks improve efficiency yet challenge security.  I hope you enjoy the great mix of thought-provoking speakers and panelists planned as they explore new technologies that connect everything, emerging threats caused by these connections especially to SCADA, ICS, and other non-traditional IT devices, and evolving cyber operations to defend this increasingly complex cyber terrain.  Our Exhibit Hall is full of industry, academia and non-profit organizations that will give you the opportunity to learn about cutting edge cyber technologies and the chance to share your own ideas.

Whether you are an individual attendee, a sponsor, an exhibitor, a speaker or one of our many volunteers, we know you’ll find this year’s symposium a world-class event inspired through the edge of the Rockies venue, our 15th year partnered with The Broadmoor. Also, just like in past years, we are providing free entrance to all three days of the Symposium for military and government attendees.

The Cyberspace Symposium not only brings government and industry together to exchange ideas related to today's toughest cyber challenges, but it also makes a tremendous difference in our region in two ways:

  • RMC - AFCEA invests in our country’s future by raising money for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.  We consistently give out more than $100,000 in scholarships and grants to Colorado STEM students and teachers annually!
  • RMC - AFCEA raises money for wounded warriors, helping Colorado families cope with disabilities resulting from service to our nation.

The Rocky Mountain Cyberspace Symposium 2017 is poised to be another great event.
