UFC-Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for DOD Buildings (Refresher)

This event qualifies for 8 Physical Security Engineering

This class is for personnel who have previously attended either the Security Engineering Training Course or the Antiterrorism Force Protection Workshop, conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers and Naval Facilities Command, respectively. This one day workshop is designed to cover changes to the standards outlined in UFC 04-010-01, UFC – Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for DOD Buildings and other pertinent guidance and is geared for the architect, engineer, planner and security professional. Only students who have attended one of the Army or Navy courses mentioned above will be allowed to sign-up. We highly recommend attending this “refresher/advanced” workshop if your certificate of training is more than three years old. Fulfills DOD Security Engineering Training requirements (DOD MISSION ASSURANCE VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT BENCHMARK PS-19).

Doug is a career security professional. He retired from active duty with the US Air Force in 1993. He spent the next 20 years working for the U.S. Government, primarily overseas in Europe. He has over 45 years of experience in conducting physical security vulnerability assessments and risk analysis. He’s been teaching these concepts to architects, engineers, planners, facility managers, security professionals and others involved in developing mitigation strategies and building design planning since 2006. He’s both a guest lecturer and Adjunct Professor teaching Security Systems Integration. He’s widely sought after to share his knowledge at industry conferences around the globe.
