Approaches for Defining and Implementing Storm Water Billing

This webinar will focus on how a number of utilities have addressed the design and implementation of Storm Water Fees through their Customer Information and Related Systems.

Water utilities are looking for ways to develop a mechanism to recover required investment in stormwater remediation as well as provide customers with the incentive to reduce impervious areas and thereby reduce extreme stormwater conditions. This webinar will present viewers with an approach to and understanding of the complexities and risks of implementing Stormwater Fees.

The need to reduce storms’ impacts in the face of increasingly dense urbanization and fund infrastructure to manage storm surges is a developing issue in the industry. This webinar will focus on one method that some North American utilities have employed to recover their investments concerning this subject and the challenges they faced and overcame in the process.
