DoD Enterprise Architecture



The conference focus is on how architecture delivers capability to the warfighter. Tutorials, workshops and breakout sessions will address:

  • how architecture is delivering capability today in joint and coalition mission areas,
  • what policy and governance initiatives are helping drive architecture across the enterprise, and
  • what education, training and certification architects need to develop success-oriented competency and career paths that enable enetrprise architect capabilities.

The conference will also provide:

  • A framework for developing DoD EA Community and Industry partnership
  • A forum for updates on policy and practices
  • An opportunity to receive regular, cohesive feedback on OSD initiatives
  • An opportunity for discussion of tools methods and best practices
  • A partnership with industry to help make DoD architecture agile and effective
  • A platform for developing and conducting focused workshos between annual conferences that help accelerate implementation of architectuer to suport cabability development

Participants will include senior leaders from DoD CIO, select Combatant Commands, Combat Support Agencies, Services, academia and industry.

The 2012 Defense Enterprise Architecture Award Program, in conjunction with the Conference,  will have information on submission opening dates.  Updates will be noted on the conference web site as well.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Senior leadership from the Department of Defense, Military Services, Combatant Commands, Industry and Academia will address how architecture delivers capability to the warfighter. This is the official Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture.
