USEUCOM Information, Innovation, Integration, and Technology Conference and Exposition (I3T)
The United States European Command (USEUCOM) invites you to participate in the USEUCOM Information, Innovation, Integration, and Technology Conference and Exposition (I3T), taking place 14 – 17 February, 2011 in Berlin, Germany.
This is the second event held by the U.S. European Command fostering information sharing and collaboration between the United States, Partner Nations, and European government. This comprehensive event brings together military and civilian professionals, directorates, service components, academia, and private industry to build relationships, discuss future competencies, and focus on global security and stability.
Directed event foci include presentations on the challenges to developing technology, demonstrations of advanced technology pertinent to facilitating and/or enabling security and stability, ways and means of analyzing socio-cultural risks and opportunities, and the operationalization and execution of solutions to mitigate or avail issues with U.S. and multinational partners.
Areas for Discussion Include:
- Deliberate planning for systems integration amongst partners
- Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief operations enabled with modern technology
- Socio-cultural risks and opportunities and their long-term impact on European and global security and stability
- Post-Industrial Age Risks
- Risks and opportunities associated with the complexities of the cyber environment
- Biometrics
Conference Deliverables:
Keynote speakers, panels, workshops and discussion groups geared towards future strategic capabilities, capacities and competencies, partner-nation integration and cooperation, and efficient and effective management of ever-expanding mission requirements in a time of fiscal constraint. In addition to the focus areas above, topics could include:
- Assessment of technology capabilities related to collaboration with U.S. agencies and partner nations
- Identification of existing capabilities to enhance or enable integrated theater information sharing and collaboration (networks, systems, architectures)
- Development/re-development, integration, and fielding of knowledge sharing capabilities
- Open discussion of future perspectives in relation to capabilities for non-traditional support (i.e., ISR for humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations, analysis of socio-cultural risks and opportunities, the influence of social networking on future socio-cultural norms and influence)
- Support to and from cyberspace
- Systemic consolidation and architecture efficiency development to support current and future activities
- Building better relationships between global industry and government entities
- Unique opportunities to share expertise and knowledge in a forum that allows for multinational participation in order to paint a common needs picture
