2nd GEOINT and Open Source Analytics Summit

This educational Summit will engage the Intelligence Community, DoD, DHS, industry and academia in a collaborative, open forum to discuss technological solutions and best practices that enhance the Intelligence Community’s ability to process, exploit, and disseminate open source data

“Moving forward, a large part of GEOINT’s value proposition will come from delivering meaningful consequences to our customers from mutually dependent classified and unclassified sources. How? We must reduce the barriers between our system and the commercial market… In short…the impact of democratization of unclassified content, the integration of content and context, and the persistent mindset… requires industry and NGA to form an even more powerful partnership…. .” Robert Cardillo, Director, NGA (March 2015)

At our Summit You Will Have the Ability to

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing intelligence officers and analysts.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas.

Why Attend?

This educational summit enables the Intelligence Community, military intelligence organizations and the private sector to come together to address the latest efforts to improve the quality, availability, and analysis of geospatial and open source intelligence.

Open and commercially sourced data have proven their value and intelligence agencies are moving quickly to take advantage of new imagery sources. The challenge is integrating this information into existing streams and exploiting it in an effective and timely manner. Establishing a strategy and framework for the collection and analysis of this diverse set of data streams will be a key priority for the IC.

This summit will feature senior level discussions on the latest efforts by government agencies and organizations to utilize geospatial and open source data to support a wide variety of mission sets. The applications of this data are many and this year’s summit will seek to highlight efforts towards the accomplishment of wide-ranging IC goals.
