Riding the Wave of the GEOINT Revolution Webinar Series - Food & Human Security: The Global Impacts of Weather Variability

"Now it's our turn to play our own critical role in protecting the world...to ride this new wave, as a part of this GEOINT revolution we've sparked."
- Dir. Robert Cardillo, GEOINT 2017, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
During the 2017 GEOINT Symposium, leaders of the intelligence community outlined a call to action that will move our community forward and highlighted key initiatives that are sparking the GEOINT revolution: automation, machine learning, anticipatory intelligence, and harnessing massive amounts of big data.

Join us for a series of complimentary webinars running Monday, July 24 – Thursday, July 27, 2017 presented by leaders from Google, Autodesk, ikeGPS, and more, that will expand on the conversations started during the symposium, discuss current challenges the GEOINT community is facing, and present solutions that will keep the GEOINT revolution moving forward.

Food & Human Security: The Global Impacts of Weather Variability

Developing nations are dependent on small-holder farmers and governments to ensure adequate food supply for their people. Access to accurate and up to date weather information (both observed and forecasted) is essential to providing a real-time early warning system to quickly identify pending food security issues. This webinar will address the information and insight required and available to accurately track and predict food security issues on a local, regional, national, and global level.
