DLA HQC Family Day

Family Day began in 1996 with approximately 3,200 attendees and has grown each year. The event kicks off at 9 AM with opening remarks by the DLA Director.

Event activities include morning 5k fun run/walk,  rock climbing wall, face painting, caricature portraits, inflatable bouncy houses, pony rides, sand art, train rides, obstacle course, and more!

Entertainment includes DJ, live musicians, and dancers. An all day movie marathon is held in the auditorium. This provides attendees an opportunity to rest and cool down. In 2017, movies included “Hidden Figures”, “Zootopia”, “The Founder”, and “A Dog’s Purpose”. ADMISSION IS FREE for all HQC employees and their guests. Attendees simply pay for their lunch. Meal options include the HQC cafeteria and food trucks, such as Chick-Fil-A and Mission BBQ.
