NASA Langley - Traffic Aware Planner Webinar

Researchers at NASA’s Langley Research Center have developed new software and methods under the Traffic Aware Strategic Aircrew Requests (TASAR) project that could help us fly smarter and cleaner. The Traffic Aware Planner (TAP) will improve the method in which pilots request flight path and altitude modifications due to changing flight conditions.

The changes may be made to reduce flight time, increase fuel efficiency, or improve some other flight attribute desired by the operator. During this free webinar, lead David Wing will discuss this technology and its potential uses, followed by an open Q&A session.
