DOD and Federal Knowledge Management Symposium

The Defense Information Systems Agency will host the DOD and Federal Knowledge Management Symposium May 15-17 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

This free conference will help participants identify and understand the interrelationships between knowledge, information/data, and document management, and learn how to implement knowledge management practices in their organizations.

DOD and federal government decision-makers will join knowledge management (KM) subject matter experts and thought leaders from around the world, who will provide briefings and presentations based on their experiences adopting and implementing KM practices.


DOD and federal government managers and team leaders involved in the practice of knowledge management, including information/data and document management practices and initiatives within their organization. Potential attendees include:

• Senior and middle management.
• Knowledge management professionals.
• Information and data managers.
• Document and records managers.
• Human resources managers.
• Information technology professionals.
• Training professionals.
• Research and development managers.
• Program and product managers.

There is no cost to participate. All attendees must pre-register.

Registered attendees will also have access to the 2018 Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium (DCOS), which is collocated at the Baltimore Convention Center May 15-17. DOD and Federal Knowledge Management Symposium registrants may attend all AFCEA DCOS sessions.
