Export Compliance Toolkit: Checklists and Workflows Webinar

Export Compliance Toolkit: Checklists and Workflows

Do you have flow charts, checklists, and classification questionnaires?

This webinar will help companies develop tools to use in the day-to-day processing of export orders and shipments. Examples of these tools include: flow charts, checklists, classification questionnaires, and recording documents. All participants will receive copies of these tools to use and modify to fit their needs! We will walk through samples of these tools for different industries and business models to help you with the following export compliance related tasks:

  • Determining Jurisdiction
  • Classifying Items
  • Licensing Determination
  • NLR or License Exceptions
  • End-Use & End-User Screening (RPL, EPCI, etc.)
  • Getting a License
  • Preparing Shipping Documents
  • Keeping Records
  • Spot Checks for Compliance

This webinar is a follow up to our Export Controls 101 webinar and is intended for small to mid-size companies or organizations that have not automated the export compliance function or are moving toward automating all or some of their processes.

Participants should have a working knowledge of the basic export control principles of jurisdiction, product classification, licensing determinations, export screening, licensing, and recordkeeping.

This webinar will provide PowerPoint slides and include live video and commentary from Felice Laird who has 30 years’ experience in training on US export controls.
