F5 Federal Tech Session

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED

Please note: This event has been cancelled.

Please join F5 Networks and our strategic Technology Partners, Venafi and FireEye, for an informative Tech Session. This will be an interactive, action packed session filled with subject matter experts, demos and labs.

F5 SSL Visibility

10:00AM - 11:00AM

Search engines promote TLS-based sites, governments and corporations mandate more secure communications, and browser vendors silently push updates to make security through cryptography more ubiquitous. And while all of this extra encryption is good, it’s also good for that malware now slipping effortlessly undetected through your firewalls on 443.

The only way to protect against this is to decrypt, but that’s easier said than done. In this session you’re going to hear how F5 can handle that decryption and intelligently orchestrate that inspectable traffic to a variety of security services.

Venafi Trust Protection Platform

11:00AM - 12:00PM

With Gartner predicting 70% of breaches will use encryption by 2020; further evidenced by GAO findings of a major private sector breach that leveraged an expired machine identity to evade inspection processes, strong security protocol around encryption management is more critical than ever. In this session, Venafi, the market leader in machine identity protection, will walk you through the steps to manage all machine identity credentials in your environment along with orchestration processes you must have in place to facilitate secure and comprehensive traffic inspection.

FireEye iSIGHT Threat Intelligence

12:15PM - 1:15PM

Applying threat intelligence can enhance your detection, investigation, and response capabilities. FireEye’s intelligence can be tailored to the role or function of the personnel using it, empowering both mature and growing security teams with critical context on the intents and activities of their attackers. FireEye’s iSIGHT Threat Intelligence can be integrated with any FireEye security solution as well as with any of your existing infrastructure and tools, providing a comprehensive offering that goes beyond the basic information data feeds provide and adds the forward-looking and highly contextual information you need to build proactive defenses, prioritize alerts and resources and improve incident response.
